On Sunday the 22 of April 2007 the Soddy-Daisy Police Department and Soddy-Daisy Fire Department responded on a call of a car overturned in a pond near Greenpond Road.
The call came in that it was believed the driver was still in the car. Before the first unit arrived a witness had helped the driver out.
The driver then ran away and the Police Officers searched the area for the driver.
Members of the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department went in the water to make sure no one was still in the vehicle.
No one was found.
The Police Department is investigating.
