On Sunday, 4/11/10 the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department responded to a house fire on Beene Street. It was reported there may be someone in the house. Smoke was coming out of the windows and when the firefighters entered they found an unconscious woman. She was taken to waiting Hamilton County EMS and she was promounced dead. She was the only one found in the home.
