On Friday, January 23, 2009 the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department was dispatched on a trailer that was being towed by a truck had caught fire. There was a little confusion about just where it was. It was dispatched to be on Dallas Hollow near Allen School. It was actually some distance down the road but the confusion was just who’s jurisdiction it was in. The end result was Soddy-Daisy, Sequoyah and Dallas Bay fire responded along with Soddy-Daisy Police and Hamilton County.
